Dennis, a funny Asian guy, hails from San Jose, CA. At a young age, he knew acting was what he truly loved. Being an actor, be it drama or comedy, or being the first Asian-American to win an Oscar for “Best Actor,” had been his biggest dream.
However, being raised in a Chinese culture, he was pushed to pursue a much safer route. Dennis was accepted to San Jose State University, where he studied and received a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer, using his earnings to fuel the engine of his dreams.
After taking acting classes in the Bay Area—studying the Meisner Technique—and getting laid off, he decided to take that leap of faith by moving to Los Angeles. The man of San Jose is now the hungry go-getter of Los Angeles.
This led him to book commercials and a co-star on Lethal Weapon. He also collaborated with some of his acting friends to produce their own content. Eventually, he returned to working in his original profession to receive stable income, but he is still actively auditioning.
Currently, he is learning about voiceover and the art of motion capture performance.
In his free time, he likes to practice archery and go on challenging hikes to feel like he is in Lord of the Rings. Nothing will stop this Asian sensation from making his dreams come true. And believe him, he will get that Oscar!
